About The Boys and Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Clubs was founded to create a safe haven where youth could go after-school to learn and grow in a fun environment. In many cities and communities, young children and teens are forced to find their own activities and recreation after they are dismissed from school. With the rising costs of childcare and a shortage of after school programs, many children are forced to be home with no caretaker or supervisor until their parents arrive from work. The Boys and Girls Club wants to support the youth and give them a place where they can be taken care of and protected. The various clubs provide various program and services to stimulate the development of boys and girls by instilling confidence, purpose, and belonging in them.

Education & Career Programs

These programs help youth create aspirations for the future, providing opportunities for career exploration and educational enhancement. MORE»

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage. MORE»
